Justin Baldoni escalated his legal fight with Blake Lively by providing evidence that strangers, allegedly hired by the actress, had been threatening him.

The ongoing legal battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively has taken a more intense turn as new details have emerged regarding alleged death threats received by Baldoni.

According to exclusive court documents obtained by *In Touch*,

the director of *It Ends With Us* has presented these threatening messages as part of his lawsuit against *The New York Times*.

The threats were allegedly sent by a supporter of Blake Lively, intensifying the already high-stakes legal conflict.

Baldoni, 40, is suing *The New York Times* for allegedly publishing a one-sided article that was based on Lively’s accusations against him and his producing partner, Jamey Heath.

In the article, Lively accused the two men of sexual harassment on the set of the film *It Ends With Us*,

citing various grievances including unwanted behavior and unprofessional conduct. The actress alleged that Baldoni made inappropriate comments about sex, improvised kissing scenes, and entered her trailer uninvited while she was breastfeeding. She also claimed that Jamey showed her a video of his wife in a compromising situation.

In his lawsuit, Baldoni denies the accusations, including the claim that he entered Lively’s trailer uninvited. To support his defense, Baldoni submitted an alleged text message exchange showing that Lively had invited him into her trailer while she was breastfeeding. He also refuted claims about the personal trainer, saying that his call was related to the production and not personal matters.

The alleged death threats revealed in the court documents are alarming and paint a troubling picture of the heightened emotions surrounding the legal dispute. One of the threats was an email sent to Baldoni’s publicist, where the sender warned, “Do NOT play with Blake Lively.” The message was filled with cryptic language and ominous threats, stating, “There are guillotines in hell for all of you.” The sender also claimed to possess secret knowledge about Hollywood and hinted at dangerous consequences for those who opposed Lively.

The email continued with unsettling statements, including “I have more knowledge than you do about Hollywood; knowing the dirty secrets of ‘many’ directors and influential people up to the White House … because I am clothed in black.” The message ended with a chilling note, “We work in ways you will never perceive.”

This threat came on the heels of a public and legal confrontation between Baldoni and Lively, following her accusations of misconduct during the making of *It Ends With Us*. Lively filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department, and Baldoni has since filed his lawsuit against *The New York Times*, accusing the publication of collaborating with Lively to orchestrate a smear campaign against him. Baldoni claims that the article published by *The New York Times* was biased and that the accusations were part of a larger effort to damage his reputation and career.

In response to the claims, *The New York Times* spokesperson defended the article, stating that the piece was “meticulously and responsibly reported” and that the reporters had reviewed thousands of pages of original documents, including text messages and emails. The spokesperson emphasized that the story was based on verified sources and that the content was quoted accurately.

Alongside the allegations of harassment, Baldoni also claims that Lively attempted to seize creative control of the film after production wrapped. He accuses her of firing the original editing team and hiring her own editors to produce a version of the film that better suited her vision. Baldoni also claims that Lively demanded to be credited as a producer, despite having no prior involvement in that capacity.

The situation has become increasingly complex, with both sides presenting opposing narratives. Baldoni maintains that Lively engaged in a calculated campaign to undermine his credibility and influence the film’s final product. Meanwhile, Lively has filed her own lawsuit, seeking damages for what she claims was harassment on the set of the film.

As the legal battle continues, both parties are likely to face further public scrutiny, and the legal outcomes could have significant ramifications for their careers. The submission of the alleged death threats underscores the emotional and volatile nature of the case, adding to the already intense public interest in the situation. The outcome of the legal proceedings remains uncertain, with both sides eager to protect their reputations and reputational damage continuing to escalate.
