The family drama surrounding *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* star Kyle Richards 

and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky has taken a troubling turn, 

as his father, Eduardo Umansky, is now facing serious abuse allegations from his long-time girlfriend, Simin Tabibnia.

The ongoing legal battle has brought to light shocking accusations of physical, verbal, 

and emotional abuse, as well as claims of manipulation and financial exploitation.

According to court documents obtained exclusively by *In Touch*, Simin, 68, has filed for an “elder or dependent adult abuse restraining order” against Eduardo, 81. 

In her petition, Simin describes a tumultuous and abusive relationship that lasted over 18 years. She claims that Eduardo subjected her to physical violence on multiple occasions, resulting in injuries. The allegations include punching, shoving, and choking, with Simin attaching photos of her injuries to the filing. She also asserts that Eduardo’s violent outbursts were often triggered by alcohol consumption and interactions with his family.

“I am afraid of [Eduardo],” Simin wrote in her petition, revealing the emotional toll the abuse has taken on her. “During that time, I endured ongoing physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. I now fear for my safety due to [Eduardo’s] actions.” Simin’s filing highlights the fear and distress she has experienced in the relationship, claiming that Eduardo’s aggression often escalated after speaking with his daughter, Sharon Umansky Benton.

However, the situation is more complex than it may initially seem. Mauricio Umansky and his sister Sharon have both filed legal documents that cast doubt on Simin’s claims. According to these documents, Mauricio and Sharon sought to place their father under a conservatorship, alleging that he had been taken advantage of by his girlfriend. She claims that Sharon’s actions are motivated by financial interests and that Sharon had been critical of her throughout the relationship. In her defense, Simin contends that it was Eduardo who was physically abusive toward her and that she had suffered violent attacks at his hands.

Sharon has accused Simin of threatening Eduardo with jail time whenever he tried to defend himself against her, claiming that she was “battered” by the girlfriend. She also described how Simin had been verbally abusive to Eduardo in public and at home, and she included videos of alleged incidents of abuse in her filing.

The legal drama surrounding Mauricio’s father has intensified with further claims of harassment. Simin has accused Eduardo of repeatedly calling and texting her, violating a temporary restraining order that had been granted against him. She also alleges that Eduardo’s family has threatened her with arrest if she responds to his messages.

In her petition, Simin has asked the court for protection against Eduardo’s ongoing harassment. “I am in desperate need of the court’s protection to stop the Respondent’s abusive behavior,” Simin wrote, expressing her fear for her safety.
