Carl Woods has spoken out about his tumultuous relationship with Katie Price, following the airing of their IVF journey in a new two-part Channel 4 documentary. 

The series, Katie Price: Making Babies, has captured the couple’s attempts to have a child together, 

despite facing significant challenges, including a less-than-one percent chance of success. 

However, the documentary has sparked controversy, with Carl now accusing Katie of using the IVF process as a means of seeking attention rather than genuinely wanting a child with him.

Carl, who had been in a relationship with Katie for nearly two years, shared his thoughts exclusively with The Sun. 

He expressed his belief that the IVF journey was more about Katie’s desire for attention than a sincere wish to have a baby with him. “It wasn’t about having a kid with me. 

It was just about an attention grab, the latest puppy she wants,” he claimed. “It didn’t matter if it was me or just a sperm donor. Katie just wants a kid with anybody who’s going to donate sperm to her.”

Despite these accusations, Carl did not shy away from discussing the challenges he faced while filming the documentary. He revealed his growing frustration with their relationship and expressed that the documentary’s final cut was misleading in its portrayal of their breakup. “It was all wrong,” Carl said. He described a scene where he was shown blocking Katie and failing to attend an important appointment, a scene which Carl insists was edited in a biased way. According to Carl, the production company knew about the issues in their relationship, but the narrative made it appear as though he had suddenly cut ties with Katie due to the failed IVF attempt.

The turning point in their relationship, as Carl described, came after Katie reportedly went out for the day and failed to return his calls. He recounted an incident where he overheard Katie speaking with a man during a FaceTime call with her son, Jett. Carl said he confronted Katie about the situation, but she allegedly responded by telling him to “f**k off” before hanging up. He believes the production team was fully aware of the situation but chose to omit this context, thus shaping the story in a way that placed blame solely on him.

In the documentary, both Carl and Katie speak openly about their relationship breakdown. Carl acknowledged the emotional toll of leaving Katie, particularly after forming a bond with her eldest son, Harvey, whom he had helped care for. Despite his departure, Carl expressed his admiration for Katie’s mothering skills, calling her “a wonderful mum.” However, he criticized her portrayal of their breakup, claiming that she failed to mention the cheating incidents and other relationship problems that occurred before the filming began.

Carl also took aim at Katie’s portrayal of herself as the victim. “Quite honestly, I find it embarrassing watching her babbling on,” he said. “The poor me, woe is me victim act. It’s boring.” He went on to accuse Katie of always blaming others for her troubles, claiming that she “creates every one of her storms” and then watches them unfold, only to deny her role in causing them.

Despite the drama surrounding their relationship and the IVF process, Carl maintained that his decision to leave Katie had little to do with the IVF treatment itself. He recalled a conversation from the first episode of the documentary, where he made a comment about there being “worse things to leave over.” Carl clarified that this statement had nothing to do with the IVF and was actually in reference to his discovery of Katie’s infidelity.

The revelations from Carl have sparked heated debate, with viewers now questioning the authenticity of the documentary’s portrayal of their relationship.
