Brittany Mahomes is embracing the next chapter of motherhood with a radiant smile and an unwavering sense of joy. 

Just weeks after the arrival of her third child, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, 

with her husband, NFL star Patrick Mahomes, Brittany has been sharing the highs and moments of recovery with her followers. 

The 29-year-old Kansas City Current co-owner is now navigating life as a mother of three, and she couldn’t be more elated.

On February 3, Brittany took to Instagram Stories to share a snapshot of her health journey, expressing her surprise at her quick recovery. 

“Ever since I have been home from having Golden, I have had a green recovery score (except the first night),” Brittany wrote. 

“I’m very confused but I also am just happy to not be pregnant and tired all the time. Less sleep, better recovery?? Make it make sense.” Her post showed off her progress as she tagged Whoop, the health and fitness app, which tracks her recovery and sleep patterns. 

It’s clear that, despite the challenges of motherhood, Brittany is adjusting to life with a new baby while also finding time for herself. Just a few moments before sharing her recovery post, she posted a Boomerang on Instagram Stories showing herself outdoors, marveling at the beautiful weather. “What a beautiful day it is wow,” she wrote, adding a heart-eyed emoji. “Golden girl sees the sun for the first time today.” This moment highlighted how much joy the Mahomes family is savoring as they welcome their new bundle of joy.

Golden Raye was born on January 12, 2025, joining older siblings Sterling Skye, 3, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2. Brittany and Patrick, also 29, have been busy adjusting to life with three little ones, but they seem to be finding a balance between their growing family and their respective careers. The couple shared a joint Instagram post to announce the birth of Golden, with the caption, “•Golden Raye Mahomes• 1/12/25🎀✨.”

Ahead of Golden’s arrival, Brittany opened up about her collaboration with Crate & Kids to design the perfect nursery for their baby girl. “Our life can be hectic, especially with two little ones running around, so our goal was to make this space serene and calming,” she told *People* in an exclusive interview. Brittany went on to explain that her design choice included a “cozy, moody vibe” with a dusty rose palette that could grow with Golden. She emphasized how important it was for both her and Patrick to feel comfortable in the nursery. “We both spend a lot of time in the nursery, so we wanted to make sure it was a space we were both comfortable in,” Brittany added.

While Brittany took the lead on the design, Patrick, who is known for his leadership on the football field, was also involved in the process. The couple has been open about their shared commitment to creating a warm, welcoming space for their children, reflecting their shared priorities as parents.

Patrick, who recently shared that he is “done” having children after Golden’s birth, confirmed during a press conference in January 2025 that three children was the perfect number for the couple. “I’m good with three for right now,” he told reporters after the Chiefs’ victory over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship.

As the Mahomes family settles into their new normal, Patrick is also gearing up for his fifth Super Bowl appearance, as the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face off against the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9, 2025, in New Orleans. Patrick has already claimed three Super Bowl victories, but this Sunday’s game promises to be another exciting chapter in his career. Brittany has been by his side every step of the way, showing her support for her husband as he heads into another high-stakes match.
