Alyssa Farah Griffin shocked The View by delivering an EXTREMELY HARSH criticism of Kanye West.

Kanye West’s controversial actions have once again become a hot topic on The View, with co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin strongly condemning his recent promotion of Nazi imagery.

During the show’s latest discussion, Griffin made it clear that she believes West is using mental health as an excuse for his harmful rhetoric and needs to be held accountable.

West’s Super Bowl Ad Sparks Outrage

The panel revisited West’s controversies following his shocking Super Bowl ad on February 9.

The advertisement directed viewers to a website where he was selling merchandise featuring swastikas—

further fueling the outrage surrounding his history of antisemitic remarks.

“There should be more outrage about this,” Griffin declared during the discussion, emphasizing that the rapper’s actions should not be overlooked.

Griffin Rejects Mental Health as an Excuse

While some have pointed to West’s history of mental health struggles, Griffin was firm in her stance that this should not be used to justify or excuse his behavior.

“I’m glad we’re talking about it on this show, because I feel like, for some reason, Kanye’s been given a pass,” she said. “I know there’s a perception that he may have some mental health issues, but there are tens of millions of people around this country who have mental health issues and are not saying bigoted, racist, antisemitic things. I think it’s a cop-out.”

West was previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but earlier this month, he claimed he had been misdiagnosed. In an interview on The Download podcast with Justin Laboy, he stated, “I’ve come to find that it’s really a case of autism that I have.”

Despite this claim, Griffin argued that his mental health struggles do not excuse his repeated promotion of hateful ideology.

The Rising Threat of Antisemitism

Griffin went on to highlight the troubling rise of antisemitism worldwide and the dangerous influence West wields due to his massive platform.

“He needs to be called out, especially on the heels of the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust on October 7,” she said, referring to the recent rise in antisemitic incidents following the Israel-Gaza conflict.

The co-host also pointed out West’s extensive reach on social media, stressing the real-world impact of his words and actions.

“There’s a rise globally in antisemitism, and this man—get this—he has more social media followers than there are Jews in the world,” she stated. “He does have an influence, there are people who are looking at him, especially young people, and he should not be normalized.”

Co-Hosts Weigh In on West’s Behavior

Other members of The View panel also voiced their concerns about West’s continued presence at major public events.

Sara Haines questioned how he was still being allowed to walk red carpets and attend high-profile gatherings despite his inflammatory remarks.

Sunny Hostin added that there was something deeply wrong with West’s actions, especially given the historical unity between Black and Jewish communities.

“Both communities have been so oppressed. They work together,” Hostin said, recalling the collaboration between Black and Jewish activists during the civil rights movement. “The fact that a Black man would be so openly vile and antisemitic—it’s just so jarring to me.”

Public and Industry Backlash

West’s recent behavior has drawn widespread condemnation from both the public and the entertainment industry. Many have called for greater accountability, urging brands and event organizers to distance themselves from him.

Griffin’s remarks on The View echo the growing sentiment that West should not be given a platform to spread hate. With his past antisemitic comments already leading to the loss of major business deals—including his lucrative partnership with Adidas—further consequences could be on the horizon if the backlash continues.

The View’s Call for Accountability

As The View continues to address pressing social issues, the panel made it clear that West’s actions should not be ignored or excused. Griffin’s powerful statement reflects a broader call for accountability, urging the public to recognize the danger of normalizing hateful rhetoric—regardless of the person behind it.

West’s controversial Super Bowl ad and ongoing promotion of Nazi imagery have only intensified the debate, leaving many wondering what further repercussions he may face in the future.
