The View hosts risk FIRING as the show’s leader unexpectedly backs “that person”: “Money really can change things…”

Despite its continued success in daytime television, tensions are running high at The View,

with sources citing everything from political debates to studio space disputes as the cause of growing frustrations.

Insiders claim that low morale has taken hold behind the scenes,

and recent changes at ABC, including layoffs and a controversial new headquarters setup, have only fueled the unrest.

Political Pressures and On-Air Tensions

One of the biggest sources of friction on the talk show stems from the way political topics—particularly those involving President Donald Trump—are handled.

The View has built a reputation for fiery debates, with its hosts known for their sharp commentary and unwavering opinions.

However, according to sources who spoke with the New York Post, executive producer Brian Teta has reportedly urged the panelists to scale back their criticism of Trump following his recent inauguration.

The request has not been well received, especially among longtime co-hosts like Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, who have been vocal critics of Trump over the years. While the show’s discussions have remained political, insiders say the co-hosts are now more measured in their comments, wary of potential backlash.

Adding to the tension is the divide between the panelists themselves. Former Trump staffer Alyssa Farah Griffin has encouraged her co-hosts to engage more openly with opposing viewpoints, arguing that Democrats should be willing to step outside their comfort zones. Meanwhile, Sara Haines recently admitted that she feels “out of touch” with some viewers, acknowledging that none of the current panelists voted for Trump.

This divide has only added to the already-heated debates among the co-hosts, making for an increasingly tense atmosphere on set.

ABC Layoffs and a Shaken Workforce

Beyond on-air conflicts, recent layoffs at ABC have left employees on edge. The network’s decision to cut several positions has affected both staffers and senior producers, creating an air of uncertainty at The View.

Two particularly shocking departures were those of seasoned producers Jamie Hammer and Audrey Jones, both well-respected members of the team. Their sudden dismissals reportedly sent shockwaves through the production, with one insider stating, “People were shocked that [Teta] would fire such experienced, well-respected producers.”

With job security on shaky ground, employees are said to be feeling the pressure, and even the on-screen talent is not immune to the anxiety.

Studio Space Struggles and a Growing Rivalry

While political and professional challenges have caused plenty of friction, an unexpected issue has also become a major point of contention: studio space.

The View recently relocated to ABC’s new headquarters in downtown New York, a move that has been anything but smooth. The co-hosts are reportedly unhappy about having to share studio space with The Tamron Hall Show, a change that has disrupted their routines and caused logistical headaches.

Previously, The View had its own designated studio and dressing rooms, but the new arrangement means that guests must now share dressing areas, and staff members are no longer allowed to leave their belongings in the studio overnight. Additionally, the overlapping taping schedules between The View and The Tamron Hall Show have led to tensions, with both teams competing for space and resources.

One source described the situation bluntly: “Tamron Hall thinks she’s Oprah. She is very demanding. She doesn’t realize she’s playing second fiddle to The View.”

While The View remains ABC’s flagship daytime talk show, the brewing rivalry with The Tamron Hall Show has only intensified frustrations among the hosts and staff.

Frustration Over ABC’s New Headquarters

Beyond the studio conflicts, many ABC employees have voiced concerns over the network’s new headquarters in Hudson Square, describing it as an uncomfortable and impractical workspace.

Sources claim that the office lacks sufficient space, with workers given lockers instead of proper desks. One insider described the setup as “very basic,” explaining that there are no executive suites, just standard-sized offices.

The location itself has also been criticized, with employees frustrated by the daily traffic congestion caused by the Holland Tunnel. Some staffers have even referred to the area as “no man’s land,” lamenting the difficulties of commuting to the new headquarters.

However, ABC has defended the move, with network sources insisting that the building is “gorgeous” and fully capable of accommodating everyone.

What’s Next for The View?

Despite the behind-the-scenes drama, The View remains a powerhouse in daytime television, consistently drawing high ratings and dominating conversations in the media. However, with tensions among the hosts, staff morale at an all-time low, and ongoing frustrations over the new studio setup, it’s clear that all is not well behind the cameras.

Whether the show can weather these internal struggles remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the drama at The View isn’t just happening on-screen—it’s unfolding behind the scenes as well.
