HORRIFYING: Jenny Slate reveals documents proving It Ends With Us executives unfairly withheld her payments: “They even used my child to pressure me…”

Jenny Slate Allegedly Filed HR Complaint While Filming ‘It Ends With Us’ Due to ‘Uncomfortable’ Interaction

Jenny Slate reportedly lodged an HR complaint while working on the film It Ends With Us after an allegedly unsettling interaction with Wayfarer Studios President Jamey Heath.

This revelation comes just days after Blake Lively amended her lawsuit to claim that multiple women, including herself, experienced discomfort on set.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Slate’s complaint was made to Sony, the film’s distributor,

regarding a conversation she had with Heath about her New York City rental during filming.

Although previous court documents referenced the complaint, her name had been redacted until now.

Alleged Incident Involving Jenny Slate

Slate, who shares a four-year-old daughter with husband Ben Shattuck, allegedly expressed dissatisfaction with the apartment she had rented for filming. She mentioned that relocating was not an option due to the significant $15,000 security deposit she had already paid. In response, Heath reportedly assured her that Wayfarer Studios would cover the costs for her to find a more suitable place. However, the language he used during this conversation allegedly made Slate feel uncomfortable.

Sources familiar with the situation claim that Heath’s remarks placed an unusual emphasis on Slate’s role as a mother and the concept of motherhood. This interaction led her to file a formal complaint with Sony.

Representatives for Slate, Heath, and Sony have yet to comment on the allegations.

Blake Lively’s Lawsuit and Additional Complaints

Slate’s complaint is the latest in a series of troubling allegations that have surfaced regarding the It Ends With Us set. Earlier this week, Lively, who stars in and executive produces the film, filed an amended lawsuit alleging that she “was not alone” in voicing concerns about co-star and director Justin Baldoni, as well as Jamey Heath. She claimed that other women were willing to testify about their own experiences.

One court document cited a May 2023 message from Lively to a mutual acquaintance of both Baldoni and Heath. In the message, Lively described her discomfort, writing, “It’s like HR nuts today. The both of them. I wasn’t expecting that turn. I mean, it’s been present but today I came home and cried.”

Another text from Lively referred to Baldoni and Heath as “creeps,” adding, “Like keep your hormones to yourselves. This is not mine. I don’t want it. I don’t want your gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife. Yeah. It’s shocking. Clowns.”

Shortly after Lively’s complaint, another unidentified female cast member reportedly filed a separate complaint, further implicating Baldoni and Heath.

Legal Battles Intensify

Baldoni has strongly denied the allegations against him. His attorney, Bryan Freedman, dismissed Lively’s amended lawsuit as being “filled with unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims.”

“Since documents do not lie and people do, the upcoming depositions of those who initially supported Ms. Lively’s false claims and those who are witnesses to her own behavior will be enlightening,” Freedman said in a statement. “What is truly uncomfortable here is Ms. Lively’s lack of actual evidence.”

Baldoni previously filed his own lawsuit against Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, for defamation and extortion. He has also taken legal action against The New York Times over its coverage of the allegations.

Slate’s Support for Lively

In the wake of the controversy, Slate has publicly backed Lively. In December 2024, she expressed her support, stating, “As Blake Lively’s castmate and friend, I voice my support as she takes action against those reported to have planned and carried out an attack on her reputation.”

She continued, “Blake is a leader, a loyal friend, and a trusted source of emotional support for me and so many who know and love her. The attack on Blake is terribly dark, disturbing, and wholly threatening. I commend my friend, admire her bravery, and stand by her side.”

Ongoing Fallout

The drama surrounding It Ends With Us has overshadowed the film’s release and production. The film, an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, was initially highly anticipated but has since been marred by legal disputes and troubling allegations.

With the trial between Lively and Baldoni set for March 2026, the legal battles are far from over. Meanwhile, the allegations from Slate and other cast members continue to raise concerns about the film’s workplace environment.
