Real Housewives of Cheshire personality Leanne Brown becomes emotional as she explains her decision to support young girls in Kenya. She revealed, “I relate to them because I once faced similar circumstances…”

After years away from the drama-filled world of The Real Housewives of Cheshire,

Leanne Brown is making her highly anticipated return to the show as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The 48-year-old reality star, fashion designer, and philanthropist was an original cast member

when the series launched in 2015 and quickly became a fan favorite, in part due to her long-standing feud with fellow OG housewife Dawn Ward.

Now, after years of personal growth and self-discovery, Leanne is stepping back into the spotlight.

She opens up about her journey since leaving the show, her work in empowering women, and what viewers can expect from her return.

Stepping Away from the Drama

Leanne originally left The Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2018 after three years of high-profile clashes and dramatic storylines. While she enjoyed being part of the show, she was ready to move on and focus on her personal development.

Looking back, she admits that rewatching old episodes feels surreal. “When I see clips of myself from those early seasons, it’s like watching someone else,” she says. “The past six years have been the most challenging but also the most rewarding of my life. I’ve learned so much about myself, my friendships, and what truly matters.”

Since leaving reality TV, Leanne has been on a transformational journey, delving into wellness, philanthropy, and personal growth. Now, she’s coming back to the show in a new light—without the intense drama that once defined her experience.

Life After RHOCH

Leanne has spent the last several years dedicating herself to causes close to her heart. One of her most significant projects has been working with One Woman at a Time, a charity that supports young girls in Kenya who are at risk of forced marriage, female genital mutilation (FGM), and gender-based violence.

“Going to Kenya and meeting these incredible young women was life-changing,” she reflects. “It was worlds apart from the glamorous lifestyle of Cheshire, but it was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. It made me realize how much I wanted to use my platform to make a real difference.”

In addition to her charity work, Leanne has ventured into writing, podcasting, and wellness coaching. Her latest project, The Midlife Awakening Method, is a coaching program designed to help women navigate the complexities of midlife.

“This is something I’ve poured my heart into,” she explains. “Women in their 40s and 50s often go through so much change—whether it’s career shifts, relationships, or just figuring out what truly makes them happy. I want to help women embrace this stage of life with confidence and purpose.”

Personal Transformation and New Ventures

Leanne’s life has undergone significant changes in recent years. In 2021, she separated from her husband of 25 years, former Manchester United footballer Wes Brown. The couple, who share three daughters, went public with their split in 2022.

Despite the challenges, Leanne has embraced her new chapter with optimism. She co-founded Eat Pray & Self Love, a wellness retreat business, with her friend Sophie. Inspired by her own journey of self-discovery, the retreats focus on mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

“It’s been an incredible experience,” she shares. “We’ve hosted retreats in the UK, Portugal, and Mexico, and this year, we’re taking it to a stunning chateau in France. I’ve been trying to convince some of the other Housewives to join—because let’s be honest, after one of our legendary dinner parties, we all need a little zen!”

Looking Ahead: The Next 10 Years

As she reflects on the past decade, Leanne envisions an exciting future. “In another 10 years, I’ll be approaching 60—how crazy is that?” she laughs. “By then, I hope to be living in my dream beach house, watching sunsets with the love of my life, and feeling completely at peace.”

Her biggest inspiration remains her three daughters. “Everything I do is for them,” she says. “They inspire me to be the best version of myself. My goal is to build a legacy of empowerment—helping other women find their strength and confidence.”

Lessons Learned

Through all the ups and downs, Leanne has gained a new perspective on life. “Money gives you choices, but it doesn’t guarantee happiness,” she says. “I used to take pride in having designer bags and luxury cars, but now I see that time and experiences are what truly matter.”

As she prepares for her return to The Real Housewives of Cheshire, Leanne is ready to embrace the moment—without getting caught up in past drama. “I’m excited to reconnect with the girls and celebrate this milestone season. But this time, I’m coming back as a stronger, wiser version of myself.”

With a decade of experience, self-growth, and transformation behind her, Leanne Brown’s return promises to bring a new perspective to the show—one of empowerment, resilience, and a fresh start.
