Jesse Watters from Fox News complained that he is experiencing “discrimination” from his superiors, as his colleagues continue to secure “major contracts”: “They are purposely excluding me…”

In a lighthearted moment on his show, Jesse Watters Primetime, the Fox News host joked about feeling a little left out after hearing that his colleagues,

Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo, had been appointed by former President Donald Trump to the board of the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

While he expressed sincere happiness for them, Watters couldn’t help but crack a joke about his own desire for recognition, making it clear he wouldn’t mind a statue in his honor.

The announcement that Ingraham and Bartiromo would be joining the board of the Kennedy Center, a significant honor,

had social media buzzing with congratulations for the two Fox News stars.

The Kennedy Center, known for its celebration of the arts and its prestigious role in U.S. culture, made waves with the inclusion of the two prominent media figures.

Both Ingraham and Bartiromo have long been influential figures in conservative media, and this recognition by Trump is seen as a mark of their continued impact on the political landscape.

While Watters took a moment to celebrate their achievements, he couldn’t resist expressing a bit of playful jealousy on air. His tone was light, but the humor was clear as he quipped about how many prominent figures seem to be receiving awards, ambassadorships, Cabinet positions, and more. “I only asked for a statue,” Watters remarked. “It doesn’t have to be life-sized, but it would be nice.” This comment drew laughter from the studio audience, and it was a playful jab at the world of politics and media, where high-profile figures often receive various honors and titles.

In addition to his playful request for a statue, Watters also joked about his desire for an invitation to a prestigious State Dinner. He clarified that he wasn’t seeking an invite to just any State Dinner but specifically to one where “really good countries” would be represented, further driving home the lighthearted nature of his comment. He said, “If you don’t want to do the statue, maybe just an invitation for Emma and I to the State Dinner, not like any country, like a really good country.”

The mention of a “State Dinner” was likely a reference to the glamorous gatherings often held at the White House for visiting heads of state and their dignitaries. These events are high-profile occasions attended by the political and cultural elite, and in the world of media, securing an invitation to such an event would be a notable honor.

While Watters’ comments were filled with humor and good-natured banter, it also reflected an underlying truth about the nature of recognition in the political and media spheres. High-profile media personalities like Watters, Ingraham, and Bartiromo are often in the public eye and play influential roles in shaping public opinion. Their visibility has led to their involvement in high-level appointments and positions, but Watters’ tongue-in-cheek commentary about wanting a statue or an invite to a State Dinner also speaks to the competitive nature of the media world, where accolades and recognition are frequently sought after.

Watters’ ability to balance humor with sharp commentary is one of the reasons for his growing popularity as a Fox News host. His audience appreciates his candidness and ability to make light of the often intense and serious world of politics. While his request for a statue might never be fulfilled, it serves as a reminder of how media figures, no matter how influential, continue to seek their own place in the limelight.

For now, Watters seems to be content with his place in the media world, even if it means jokingly seeking out a statue. As the political and media landscape evolves, Watters will undoubtedly continue to maintain his presence on the national stage, likely bringing even more humor, insights, and playful jabs as he navigates the ups and downs of the political world.

In the end, his comments about the statue and the State Dinner are a perfect example of how even the most serious personalities can still find moments to lighten the mood. And while he may not get a statue just yet, Watters’ witty commentary and unfiltered perspective continue to earn him a loyal following among viewers.
