Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt expressed remorse over marrying Sean Hannity, realizing why his ex-wives had ended their relationships.

Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt are officially engaged, marking a new chapter in their long-rumored romance.

The announcement, made through Fox News, confirmed that Hannity proposed at their church in Florida, a setting reflective of their shared faith.

The couple expressed their happiness and gratitude in a joint statement, saying,

“We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives.”

A Long-Distance Love Story

Hannity, 62, and Earhardt, 48, have maintained a long-distance relationship for years, with Hannity residing in Florida while Earhardt continues to live in New York.

Despite the geographical divide, the pair have managed to make their relationship work, ensuring they spend quality time together whenever possible.

The couple’s professional commitments remain unchanged following their engagement. Hannity will continue hosting his long-running primetime show Hannity on Fox News, while Earhardt will maintain her role as a co-host on Fox & Friends alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. Both have long-term contracts with the network, ensuring their continued presence on Fox News.

Presidential Congratulations

The couple’s engagement has attracted attention from notable figures, including former President Donald Trump, who has long been a fan of Fox & Friends and has been interviewed by both Hannity and Earhardt. Trump shared his excitement on Truth Social, writing, “Great news about Sean and Ainsley. They are officially engaged to be married! There are no finer people than these, and there will be no finer couple. Congratulations to both — A deal made in HEAVEN!!!”

A Look at Their Previous Marriages

This will be the third marriage for Earhardt, who has been with Fox News since 2007. During her early years at the network, she hosted a segment on Hannity before rising to prominence as a Fox & Friends co-host in 2016. Earhardt was previously married to former Clemson Tigers quarterback Will Proctor from 2012 to 2019, and the pair share a nine-year-old daughter. Her first marriage was to film producer Kevin McKinney in 2005, which ended in divorce in 2009.

Hannity, on the other hand, was married to former journalist Jill Rhodes for over two decades before their divorce was finalized in 2019. The former couple, who married in 1993, have two adult children: a 26-year-old son and a 23-year-old daughter. Despite their separation, Hannity and Rhodes have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship.

The ‘First Couple’ of Fox News

Speculation about Hannity and Earhardt’s relationship first gained traction in 2020 when Vanity Fair reported that the two were dating. The report came after they were seen arriving together at the wedding of Fox & Friends weekend host Pete Hegseth and Fox producer Jennifer Rauchet at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The media outlet described them as the “first couple of Fox News,” likening them to a figurative first lady and president of the network.

Despite the rumors, Hannity and Earhardt kept their relationship largely private until their engagement announcement. They have since emphasized the importance of their shared faith and deep mutual respect as the foundation of their bond.

Looking Ahead

As they prepare for marriage, Hannity and Earhardt will continue to navigate their long-distance relationship, balancing their personal lives with their high-profile careers. Earhardt has stated that she plans to remain in New York with her daughter while Hannity continues to live in Florida, but they have assured their supporters that they will not miss a weekend together.

With their engagement now public, the Fox News power couple is receiving both congratulations and lighthearted commentary from fans. Their love story, rooted in mutual faith and professional admiration, continues to unfold, capturing the interest of viewers and media observers alike.

As they take this next step together, Hannity and Earhardt remain dedicated to their careers and to each other, proving that love can thrive even in the fast-paced world of cable news.
