Kathie Lee Gifford has spoken candidly about the emotional turmoil she faced after discovering that her late husband, Frank Gifford, had been unfaithful. 

The television personality recently opened up about the intense anger she felt upon learning of his affair in 1997 

and the difficult decision she made to stay with him despite the deep hurt it caused.

In 1997, the shocking revelation that Frank Gifford, a former football star and broadcaster, 

had engaged in an affair with a former flight attendant named Suzen Johnson made headlines. 

At the time, he and Kathie had been married for 11 years and were raising their two young children, Cody and Cassidy. The news was a devastating blow, not only because of the betrayal itself but also due to the very public nature of the scandal.

“People take sex so casually, and it pretty much did me in for a long time,” she revealed.
