Leila Roker, the 26-year-old daughter of Today show anchor Al Roker 

and ABC’s 20/20 anchor Deborah Roberts, recently announced some very exciting news – she’s engaged! 

Leila shared the heartfelt proposal moment with her fiancé, Sylvain Gricourt, on social media Sunday,

The engagement comes after eight years of Leila living in Paris, seven years of dating Sylvain, and a beautiful proposal in the romantic city of Venice.

“8 years ago, I moved to Paris, 7 years ago I met my person and best friend, and 2 days ago, that person took me on the most amazing surprise trip to Venice to ask me to spend the rest of our lives together,” Leila shared with her followers. The candid caption perfectly encapsulated the journey that brought them to this milestone, highlighting how her life has beautifully evolved since her move to Paris and meeting Sylvain.

Sylvain, 33, also shared his own version of the engagement story on his Instagram.
