Alec Baldwin is taking legal action against the special prosecutor involved in the investigation into the tragic shooting on the set of his film *Rust*. 

Baldwin has filed a lawsuit accusing the prosecutor of malicious prosecution, 

claiming that the legal proceedings surrounding the incident caused significant personal and professional harm. 

This lawsuit comes after Baldwin was cleared of criminal charges related to the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
