Coleen Nolan broke down, admitting her family feels GUILTY for doing something that prevented her sister Linda from passing away peacefully: “I don’t know how to ask for forgiveness…”

Coleen Nolan, the beloved *Loose Women* presenter, has expressed her deep emotions just a day after attending the funeral of her sister, Linda Nolan.

Linda, who passed away on January 15 after a courageous battle with cancer, was laid to rest in a moving ceremony on Saturday

that saw the presence of family, friends, and numerous celebrity guests who celebrated her life.

Linda, who was a member of the iconic pop group *The Nolans* in the 70s, was given a truly special farewell.

Her coffin, a striking pink and sparkly tribute to her vibrant personality, was carried into St. Paul’s Church in Blackpool by Coleen’s sons, Shane and Jake.

The family, showing their solidarity with breast cancer awareness, wore pink breast cancer brooches and earrings to honor Linda, who had become a symbol of resilience throughout her cancer fight.

In an emotional social media post, Coleen shared her sorrow and gratitude, reflecting on the beautiful send-off her sister received. “Yesterday, we said a heartbreaking goodbye to my sister Linda for the last time, and it was a truly beautiful send-off,” Coleen wrote. She also revealed a touching gesture in honor of Linda—a previously unreleased recording of Linda singing the iconic song *”Somewhere Over the Rainbow”*. Along with this cherished audio, Coleen posted old photos and videos of Linda, sharing memories with her followers.

The heartfelt post quickly received an outpouring of support from her fans and colleagues. Fellow *Loose Women* panelist Judi Love commented, “This is so beautiful,” while former host Saira Khan added, “Beautiful, just like she was.” One follower expressed gratitude for the special post, saying, “It’s a shame this couldn’t be released now, it would be the most fitting tribute to Linda, possibly raise more money for research into cancer. Thank you for sharing this with us.”

Coleen’s emotional tribute was a testament to the bond the two sisters shared, and her followers’ response highlighted the deep impact Linda’s life had on many. It also emphasized the powerful legacy Linda leaves behind, not only as a performer but as an inspiration to those battling cancer. One fan even mentioned that they had lit a candle on the ward in honor of Linda, acknowledging the profound effect Linda had on others during her life.

At the funeral, Linda’s sister Denise Nolan-Anderson delivered a poignant eulogy, remembering Linda’s courage in the face of her illness. Denise spoke lovingly of her sister, describing her as someone who was “the life and soul of any big occasion.” She also acknowledged the immense strength Linda showed throughout her battle with cancer, telling her, “It’s time to rest now, Linda. The battle is over, you are free.”

The service was a fitting celebration of Linda’s life and was attended by many close friends, including celebrities such as Charlotte Dawson, singer Lisa Maffia, comedian Tommy Cannon, and actor Shane Richie, Coleen’s ex-husband. The outpouring of support at the service showed just how much Linda was cherished, not only by her family but by those she worked with in the entertainment industry.

Despite the sadness of the day, Coleen also shared a lighthearted memory from Linda’s funeral plans. She revealed that Linda had once made a rather bold request for everyone to wear black with mantillas—small lace veils that cover the face. Coleen recounted laughing at the suggestion, joking, “I’m going to laugh the whole way through the funeral!” Instead, the family opted for classic black attire, keeping it simple but still honoring Linda’s wishes for a stylish and memorable occasion.

In true Linda fashion, her coffin was designed with a “showbiz” flair, featuring bright pink and sparkly elements that captured her fun and glamorous personality. As Coleen noted, Linda had always loved bling—her trainers, handbags, and even her walking stick often had sparkly details. The glittery pink coffin was a fitting tribute to the sister who lived life to the fullest and embraced her love for all things glitzy.

As Coleen and her family continue to mourn the loss of Linda, the outpouring of love and support from fans and fellow celebrities offers a small comfort in these difficult times. Coleen’s tribute post reflects both the pain of losing her sister and the gratitude for the love and memories they shared. Linda may be gone, but her legacy will continue to shine brightly, both in the hearts of her family and in the minds of all those who were touched by her spirit.
