In early 2024, Musk and Zilis reportedly welcomed a third child together, though specifics, including the name and sex of the child, remain unknown. Musk confirmed the birth to the press, but as with his other children, he has kept the details under wraps.

Throughout his social media posts and interviews, Musk has been outspoken about his views on family. In 2022, he tweeted that he was doing his best to address what he sees as a global underpopulation crisis, stating that low birth rates are a much greater threat to civilization than climate change.
