Ripa, 54, who had her arms open for a hug, quickly adjusted and reached out to shake Basso’s hand instead. She jokingly asked, “Is that OK? Was that weird?”

Basso, trying to avoid any awkwardness in front of Consuelos, responded, “No, I just… you’re married, I just wanted to give you a handshake,” prompting laughter from the audience and Mark Consuelos, 53.
