Grimes is making an urgent plea to Elon Musk regarding a serious medical concern involving one of their children. 

The singer, 36, took to Musk’s social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), on Thursday, 

where she accused the Tesla and SpaceX CEO of ignoring her repeated attempts to contact him about their child’s condition.

In a series of now-deleted posts, the Canadian musician expressed her frustration, 

stating that she had tried multiple times to reach Musk through text messages, phone calls, and emails—all of which, she claimed, had been ignored.

Grimes Calls for Immediate Attention

“Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis,” Grimes wrote in a public message directed at Musk. “I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.”

She did not specify which of their three children was experiencing the medical issue, nor did she provide details regarding the nature of the crisis. However, she emphasized the severity of the situation, insisting that Musk’s lack of response could have long-term consequences for their child’s health.

A Desperate Measure

Grimes’ decision to address the matter in a public forum sparked a mix of reactions. One user suggested that making the issue public might not be the most effective approach, to which Grimes responded by underscoring the urgency of the matter.

“I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts, calls, or emails and has skipped every meeting. Our child will suffer life-long impairment if he doesn’t respond ASAP,” she wrote. “So I need him to f–king respond, and if I have to apply public pressure, then I guess that’s where we are at.”

Her frustration was evident as she continued to insist that she had exhausted all other options to get Musk’s attention.

Deleting the Posts

Shortly after making the public plea, Grimes decided to delete her posts, explaining her reasoning in a final message before their removal. “I am deleting them now because if they’re being shadow banned and not eliciting a response then all it is is a media circus at the expense of the kids,” she wrote.

Despite the deletion, her comments had already circulated widely, leading to increased speculation about the situation between her and Musk. Representatives for both Grimes and Musk have yet to publicly comment on the matter.

A History of Tension

This is not the first time Grimes and Musk’s co-parenting dynamics have come into the spotlight. The former couple, who share three children—X Æ A-12 (known as X), Exa Dark Sideræl (Y), and Techno Mechanicus (Tau)—have had a complex relationship since their split. In the past, Grimes has spoken about challenges in communication and parenting with Musk, who has ten children in total from multiple relationships.

In September 2023, court documents revealed that Grimes had filed a petition to establish a parental rights agreement with Musk, further highlighting the ongoing legal discussions surrounding their children. The status of that case remains unclear.

Public Pressure or Private Resolution?

While some online users sympathized with Grimes’ approach, arguing that she had no other way to reach Musk, others questioned whether a public appeal was the best course of action. Regardless, the situation has once again drawn attention to the complicated relationship between the two high-profile figures.

For now, it remains unclear whether Musk has responded to Grimes privately following her public plea. Given the potential severity of the child’s medical situation, many will be watching to see if Musk addresses the issue or if Grimes provides further updates.
