Jason Kelce recently opened up about the personal growth of his younger brother, Travis Kelce, crediting Taylor Swift for playing a major role in his transformation. 

During an appearance on the Fitz & Whit podcast on Tuesday, 

the former Philadelphia Eagles star shared his perspective on how the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has evolved in recent years.

Jason Kelce Calls Travis’ Growth “Staggering”

While speaking with co-host Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jason was asked about how much Travis has matured over the last three years. 

Without hesitation, Jason described his brother’s progress as “staggering.”

Fitzpatrick recalled visiting Travis’ home three years ago and noticing that his living space only included a basketball hoop and a pool table—an environment that reflected his carefree, bachelor lifestyle. Jason, 37, agreed, explaining that his brother had always maintained a childlike spirit.

“One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up, like he was like Peter Pan and the Lost Boys,” Jason said.

When asked if Travis is finally growing up, Jason immediately confirmed, “For sure.” He went on to discuss how certain people in life can inspire personal growth, hinting at the influence Swift has had on his brother.

“It’s changing, and I think that sometimes, you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you, and that’s a good thing,” Jason said, implying that someone—likely Swift—has encouraged Travis to evolve.

“Trav, he is growing up. He’s still, though, got that youthful enthusiasm,” Jason said. “I think he’ll kinda always have that, it’s just part of his personality, and I think it’s one of the reasons every teammate has loved playing with him and anybody that’s ever met Trav, you can’t help but just love the guy.”
