More trouble hits It Ends With Us as Jenny Slate presents evidence that the film’s executives STOLE HER CONTRACT MONEY.

Jenny Slate Reportedly Filed HR Complaint While Filming It Ends With Us with Blake Lively

Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the production of It Ends With Us,

a new report claims that actress Jenny Slate filed an HR complaint while working on the film alongside Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed on Friday that Slate, 42, lodged a grievance following an alleged uncomfortable exchange with Jamey Heath, the president of Wayfarer Studios.

Slate’s complaint is reportedly one of several incidents referenced in Lively’s amended lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, which includes allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation.

According to the report, Slate’s issue stemmed from a conversation with Heath regarding her accommodations during filming in New York City.

The actress, who shares a four-year-old daughter with her husband Ben Shattuck, allegedly informed Heath that she was dissatisfied with the apartment she rented.

However, relocating was not an option due to the substantial $15,000 security deposit she had already paid. Heath’s response to her concerns allegedly made her uncomfortable, prompting her to file a formal complaint with Sony, the studio behind the film.

HR Complaint Details and Additional Allegations

Sources speaking with The Hollywood Reporter claim that Heath’s response to Slate’s housing situation included language that was unsettling for her. He allegedly made comments emphasizing her role as a mother and the “sanctity of motherhood,” which left her feeling uneasy. While Slate’s name had previously been redacted in court documents, it has now been confirmed that she was one of the individuals who filed complaints about behavior on set.

Blake Lively, 37, recently amended her lawsuit against Baldoni, citing additional instances of misconduct and claiming that more actresses from the It Ends With Us set are prepared to come forward with evidence supporting her allegations. Her lawsuit, first filed in December, details accusations of sexual harassment, workplace misconduct, and efforts to undermine her career.

Legal Responses and Industry Reactions

Baldoni’s legal team has denied all allegations, with his attorney Bryan Freedman dismissing Lively’s claims as “underwhelming” and based on “hearsay.” He argued that the lawsuit lacks substantial proof, asserting that Baldoni, his publicists, and Wayfarer Studios have provided receipts, real-time documents, and video footage that tell a “completely different story.”

Lively’s lawsuit states that Baldoni’s alleged actions had a direct impact on her career, leading to missed opportunities, including a high-profile hosting gig on Saturday Night Live’s 50th season premiere. The legal filing describes the fallout from the controversy as “immediate and substantial,” claiming that Lively refrained from making public appearances due to the negative attention surrounding the film’s production.

Despite the ongoing legal battle, Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds made a surprise appearance at SNL’s 50th Anniversary Special. During the event, Reynolds made a brief but pointed joke referencing the lawsuit, adding further intrigue to the ongoing drama.

The Road Ahead

With new allegations surfacing and more individuals reportedly prepared to come forward, the It Ends With Us controversy continues to grow. The case is set to go to trial in March 2026, ensuring that the legal battle and its impact on the entertainment industry will be closely watched in the coming years.

As of now, neither Slate nor Heath has publicly commented on the HR complaint, and representatives for both parties have yet to respond to media inquiries. With the lawsuit unfolding, Hollywood remains on edge, waiting to see how the legal proceedings will shape the future of those involved.
