During the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, 

the NFL tight end opened up about how Swift’s extensive discography provides the perfect soundtrack for any emotion.

On the February 2025 episode of New Heights, Travis, 35, shared how much he relies on Swift’s music when he’s struggling.

“She has something for everything,” he said, explaining that no matter what mood he’s in, there’s a Swift song to match.

Jason Kelce, 37, agreed, noting that Swift’s music has a unique way of resonating with people in all situations.

“No matter what mood [you’re in], you can find some Taylor music to relate to,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles player added.

While Travis turns to Swift’s songs, Jason admitted that he prefers listening to “sad country” music when he’s feeling down.

“No matter how bad I’m feeling, there’s a country guy who is singing about it and feeling way worse for me, and that gives me joy,” the ESPN analyst joked.

“I listen to music that is very telling of my mood,” he said. “The only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first.”
