Where Did the Claim Originate?

The rumor appears to have started from a video shared on the social media platform X, originally posted by a user identified as @david.paul931. The video falsely claims that Leavitt appeared on The View to discuss topics such as “the current state of American politics” and “the younger generation’s interest in the Republican Party.” The video alleges that Goldberg became so upset during the discussion that she left the stage mid-broadcast.

A similar version of the claim can also be found on TikTok, where the same video was reposted with text overlay reading: “Whoopi Goldberg WALKS OFF The View During Explosive Debate With Caroline [sic] Leavitt.” However, there is no record of this event happening on the show.

No Scheduled Appearance for Karoline Leavitt

Looking at The View’s official guest lineup for the week of February 24-28, Leavitt is not listed as a guest. Moreover, in the history of the show, which has run for 29 seasons, she has never made an appearance.
